This plug modifies the following grounded appliance plugs to fit India/Middle East (5 Amp) electrical outlets: Australia/New Zealand/China, Continental Europe (Schuko)*, Israel, Italy, North America, Switzerland and United Kingdom/Hong Kong.
Do I need a grounded adaptor? If your North American appliance plug has two flat blades and one round pin, your appliance is grounded.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to remember that adaptor plugs DO NOT convert electricity; they simply make it possible to plug domestic appliances into foreign outlets. If you plan on using a domestic 110/120 volt appliance in a country that supports 210/220 voltage, you will need either a transformer or a converter to be able to use your device safely. This is important. If you plug a device such as a 110/120 hair dryer directly into an electrical system that is 210/220 volts, you will destroy your appliance and you might start a fire.
